How to get

By car

From Florence: take the A11 motorway, exit Lucca East; follow directions to Castelnuovo Garfagnana, then to San Romano Garfagnana and, at Villetta, follow signals to Borgo del Sole.

From Genova: take the A12 motorway to Pisa; exit at link with A11 to Florence, exit at Lucca East, follow directions to Castelnuovo Garfagnana, then to San Romano Garfagnana and, at Villetta, follow signals to Borgo del Sole.

By train

From Pisa Central station: take the train to Lucca-Aulla, and stop at Villetta.

From Florence: take the train to Lucca, then the train to Aulla or Piazza al Serchio, stop at Villetta station.

Ask if your train stops at Villetta, not all train stop.
